I haven't had the time nor the inspiration to write at all in these past few weeks, hence the reason for the unexplained temporary unavailability of the site. I shut it down, but thanks to my website being unexpectedly published in the Human-Age Tribune, I've decided to set it up and running again. I won't be writing for a while, however, so you'll have to occupy yourselves with past posts and the forums for now. I'll be adding short stories and poems every once and a while to try and hold you guys over till I actually get some more of Exigency written. I apologize for making you all wait so long for nothing and thank you whole-heartedly for your patience with me.

So, I know you're all going to hate me for this but I haven't written absolutely anything in the past week or so. >.>;
Wait! Wait! I have plenty of excuses though!
Been really busy with this big project for my English class, rewriting and memorizing Shakespeare stuff. I drew a pretty nice picture of Cassius from Julius Caesar as part of the project, too. :) And now my English class is going over the poetry unit and whatnot, so I've been spending my time writing pantoums and sonnets the last few days, some of which I will probably upload here once they're graded and such.
My other excuse: I lost every bit of the content I had originally written on chapter 5 after I finished the continued bit of chapter 4. That's had me rather discouraged, and I've been avidly trying to find it all, for I was rather proud of it. Thus, I've been reluctant to start over. >.<
Okay, I am insanely stoked right now! Super big thank you to SwallowTail who drew two wicked sketches for the fan art album!!!! :'D Check 'em out and leave Swallow plenty of comments and ratings! ^^.b
And as for the other thing, I've changed the User permissions so that any further fan art can be uploaded to the album by you guys instead of you sending me the links. I'll still have to approve the uploads before they appear on the site but it will be easi... Read more »
Hmm... well, first
off, I've noticed/realized two things:
My first observation is that now
that I'm out of the "prologue" stage of the story, the chapters
are going to be getting longer, so in order to not rush things, I'm
revoking what I said about having a new chapter up each week. And
though I can't make any promises now that school has gotten horribly
busy for myself, I'll try to have a new chapter up now every other week instead. Sooo,
in other words, chapter 5 won't be up this week, but I will try to have
it up next week, then chapter 6 up two weeks from then and so on.
"Got
it memorized?" (*has been on a Kingdom Hearts 2 craze the last few
days* XD)
As for my second little observation, in the navigation
menu, when you go to select the prologue from the Chapter Selection
tab, it reads "Prologue (chpt. 1-5)". That was a typo on my part, one

I hate to admit that I've slacked off a bit on the story, but I finally have more material for you guys. Plus, I've already started on chapter 5 and it's coming along pretty well, I do believe.
First off, I decided to add a bit more to chapter 4 so that I could go ahead and finish up what I considered to be the story's prologue. (Psst, just fyi, the new material I added to chapter 4 is everything located beneath the *** on that chaper ;D)
Which leads to the second update, I considered what Swallowtail said in the forums about the story and decided to compile the beginning chapters into one big prologue section. The chapters are still separated, but they are now all on the same page, which also means that chapter 4 is now available to non-members.
I hope it was an okay idea. If not, my apologies but you'll just have to deal, because I actually kind of like it that way. >.<;
I've been ultra busy the last two weeks, and obviously, I didn't put a chapter up last week. The bad news is I still haven't gotten much written this week either. :(
I'll try and write a bunch tomorrow, and maybe, if we're lucky, I'll make a decent amount of progress and have another chapter up for you guys sometime tomorrow. If not, well.. Let's just hope I get a lot written. >.<
